Beautiful vintage 1940s minaudiere, compact vanity purse
Brass coloured frame
On one side is a mirror which is intact but does have slight foxing and marks around the edges. The mirror is slightly loose from the base on one corner
There is a powder compartment which look as if it has not been used.
It has a soft swansdown powder puff
There is a brass lipstick holder which still holds some of the original red lipstick but this is not usable. There are some marks on the lipstick compartment of the minaudiere
On the other side of the minaudiere is a little purse section which closes with a popper (this sometimes doesn't stay shut and pops open!)
In good vintage condition overall with a few small surface marks. There are a few little areas where some of the black fabric has become detached from the minaudiere eg under the flap. These are not overly visible.
